Delhi’s School education minister Manish Sisodia has announced the assessment methodology to be adopted by the newly found out Delhi Board of faculty Education (DBSE). In its first meeting, the board has decided to use high tech assessment technologies including AI , game based tests and data analytics.
“The Delhi Board of faculty education in its first meeting decided not only the right to test, but as a partner in learning’. it’ll use high tech assessment technologies including AI , Game based tests & Data Analytics (sic),” tweeted Sisodia.
The new board is getting to promote application-based learning, discarding rote and promoting innovative assessments for children.
Initially 20-25 government schools are going to be brought under the DBSE from the start of the new term 2021-22 and within the next four-five years all the faculties are going to be brought thereunder .
Currently, Delhi has on the brink of 1,000 government schools and around 1,700 private schools, the bulk of them affiliated to the CBSE.
The newly found out board will have a administration headed by the Education minister of Delhi and an executive body headed by a chief military officer .
