The Chief Minister noted that till January they were controlling the COVID-19 situation very nicely but now the COVID situation has exploded within the state during a very serious way. He revealed that the state recorded around 60, 000 cases, which is that the highest thus far .
He emphasised that it’s time to fight war against COVID-19 once more . The Chief Minister said during a state-wide address on April 13, 2021 that they’re forced to place some restrictions albeit they do not want to.
Complete curfew in Maharashtra from tomorrow 8pm
The Chief Minister said that he wouldn’t call it a lockdown but restrictions. He said that they’re implementing serious guidelines from tomorrow 8pm. He further urged all people to follow the rules strictly for his or her own safety.
What will be open?
Essential Services: All essential services are going to be open from 7 am to 8pm.
Public transport won’t be completely pack up . it’ll be used only by people involved in essential services.
All essential services are going to be open- Agriculture, vaccination centres, hospitals, medical services, cargo facilities, petrol pump, media.
Restaurants- they’re going to be open. No sitting are going to be allowed, only home delivery.
Road side food stalls are going to be allowed to open between 7 am to eight pm. nobody are going to be allowed to face and eat, they’re going to need to pack and bring home .
What will be closed?
Everything besides essential services are going to be closed the state from tomorrow 8 pm. Those not working in any quite essential services won’t be allowed to maneuver out.
Ramped up Testing, tremendous pressure on testing facilities
•The Chief Minister stated that the state has been testing more now as compared to earlier. it’s over 500 testing labs now and there’s tons of burden on these labs.
•He stated that there’s tremendous amount of pressure on testing facilities and hence the results are becoming delayed. We try to exude the simplest facilities.
•We have postponed Maharashtra board exams keeping in mind the security of scholars .

CM appeals to Airlift Oxygen to state
•Every day 1200 tonnes of oxygen is being generated within the state and every one of it’s getting used in healthcare facilities.
•However, even after doing such a lot there are many of us who aren’t getting beds or their leads to time.
•We also are appealing to the centre to urge oxygen from other states. i’m appealing to Prime Minister that bringing oxygen through road is becoming very difficult so we are requesting the centre to urge it through air.
•We want to build up vaccination to bring infections down.
•This particular time is extremely dangerous as we do not know whether it’s reached its peak or not so people got to support us it taking extra precautions and following all COVID protocols.
Ramping up Infrastructure
We are increasing the amount of beds everywhere.
Most important thing is that the doctors are exhausted therefore the state is appealing to doctors from outside to return to figure for the state.
The Chief Minister has also appealed all NGOs and healthcare workers and opposition parties to return together to fight coronavirus
According to Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, the typical daily cases have grown significantly in Maharashtra and reached A level of 57000.
Coronavirus in Maharashtra
Maharashtra on April 12, 2021 reported 51,751 new Covid-19 cases, taking the entire COVID tally to three ,458,996, which incorporates 5,66,278 active cases, 28,34,473 recoveries and 58245 deaths.
