West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday slammed the Centre, calling it “a merciless government” for its “meagre advance” to the kingdom after Cyclone Amphan, and mentioned “Gujarat will in no way be in a position to rule Bengal”.
Banerjee moreover took on the Opposition for criticizing her vote-on-account and pronouncing it was once performed with an eye on the polls.
Speaking on the closing day of the concluding session of the sixteenth West Bengal assembly, on the Rs 2.99 lakh crore vote-on-account brought by way of ability of her, the chief minister stated it was once as soon as completed for the welfare of the people, and claimed her birthday celebration would return to electrical energy in the kingdom in the coming assembly polls.
“Even if it (the vote-on-account) is what the opposition is saying, the vicinity is the problem? It is for the welfare of the people. Some are saying we are there for a few days. We will be again with a massive mandate,” she asserted.
