Let me tell you that Baba Ramdev had claimed to make Corona medicine by holding a press conference last Tuesday. The news of Corona’s treatment claim had become headlines in the media. Taking cognizance of this, the Ministry of AYUSH had sent a notice to Patanjali to ban the propagation of medicine. Also, documents related to it.
The next day on Wednesday, Uttarakhand AYUSH department sent a notice to Divya Pharmacy, ordering the pharmacy to immediately stop the promotion of corona kits and modify the label. They were asked to reply to the notice within seven days. The case was filed in Bihar and Rajasthan. In fact, the state’s AYUSH department said that Patanjali was given a license to become an immunity booster.
We never told the medicine (coronil) can cure or control corona, we said that we had made medicines and used them in clinical controlled trial which cured corona patients. There is no confusion in it: Acharya Balkrishna, CEO Patanjali pic.twitter.com/wNaX8JsRqn
