Night curfew impose due to Covid-19 cases increase

Noida administration imposes night curfew to prevent Covid-19 till 17 April 2021

08 Apr 2021: Curfew begins in Noida from 10 pm-5 am tonight.

An evening curfew has been ordered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh amid an increase in coronavirus infection in many parts of India .

The curfew, which comes into effect from Thursday night, will last from 10 pm until 5 am subsequent day.

The decision has been taken on account of the increase in infections in and round the Gautam Budh Nagar district.

: Movement of essential goods, essential services exempted from night curfew

The Gautam Budh Nagar district administration’s said, “Administration has decided to impose night prohibition/regulation within the district of Gautam Budh Nagar from 10 pm to 5 am till 17th April 2021”

“However, all movement of essential goods/commodities and essential/medical services shall be exempted from the above ,” said the , signed by Suhas LY, District Collector, and Magistrate (Gautam Budh Nagar).

“All government, private educational institutes (except medical, paramedical, and nursing) including coaching institutes will be barred from taking physicals classes until 17 April 2021, ”states that every single examination including practicals, are going to be held as per schedule.

“There shall be an intensive enforcement of masks and other COVID-19 protocols publicly places including workplaces, by /incident commanders and by concerned departments.”

Reason: 125 new cases were registered by Gautam Budh Nagar Yestarday

The has been issued thanks to the increase in positivity rate in infections and an increase within the number of COVID-19 cases in and round the district.

In particular, the boundaries of Gautam Budh Nagar district, where infections are increasing.

The district received 125 new infections on Wednesday taking the total to 26,697. 93 patients have died within the district, while 25,952 have recovered.
