Hurricane Ida made landfall yesterday, and now continues its track across the southern us , bringing with it heavy rain, extreme winds and flash flooding. The observatory rated Ida as a Category 4 hurricane yesterday with winds of 150 mph (230 kph). in sight of the weather , the port of latest Orleans made the subsequent announcements regarding operations last Saturday.
- Container operations at the New Orleans Terminal and Ports America are suspended on August 30. At an equivalent time, breakbulk operations have also been suspended at the Empire, Coastal Cargo, Gulf stream Marine, and Ports America.
