Hong Kong & Shenzhen Ports to resume all gate operations

The tropical depression moves gradually faraway from Guangdong , ports in Hong Kong and Shenzhen announced today (August 4th, 2021) that they’re going to resume all gate operations at terminals, with details as follows:

• In Hong Kong International Terminals, all gate operations have resumed since 8 am today.

• In Shenzhen, Shekou Port and Yantian Port will resume all gate operations from 6 pm and eight pm tonight , respectively. As per requirements in situ since May, truckers are required to form an advance reservation before delivering laden containers to the port. Deliveries without a confirmed booking are going to be rejected.

According to local weather outlook , the tropical depression will slowly move northeast and certain bring occasional showers and winds near the Guangdong and Fujian coasts.
