West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Monday that she will win consecutive state  Bengal elections despite injury and will eventually aim to regain power in Delhi.
Hitting out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and residential Minister Amit Shah, Ms Banerjee who is seeking a 3rd term in said that West are going to be ruled by its own people.

Terming herself as a Royal , the TMC chief said, West won’t be ruled by anyone from Gujarat.

MS Banerjee said, ”I will win Delhi with one leg and with two legs”.

The TMC leader said that she suffered injuries, which he was attacked by BJP supporters in Nandigram on march 10 to prevent her from campaigning for the west assembly polls, a make or break event for both the TMC and therefore the BJP.

However, after browsing the report of poll observers, the committee had concluded that the Nandigram incident was an accident and not a planned attack.

Criticising the central government over Sunday’s Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh during which 22 security personnel were killed, the West chief minister accused the BJP of not governing the country properly and concentrating on West elections.

Lambasting the BJP for bringing leaders from everywhere the country, who “are camping within the state to win the elections”, Ms Banerjee said at a public meeting that the BJP is fielding its sitting MPs for the assembly polls since it’s a scarcity of suitable candidates.

Ms Banerjee, who has been accused by the prime minister of showering abuses on him on different occasions within the run up to the elections, said that she doesn’t care about Modi calling her “Didi…o… didi” during a tone which some TMC women leaders have termed as sarcastic.

“He does this a day , i do not care,” Ms Banerjee said. Questioning the logic behind holding West assembly elections in eight phases, she said, “It could are wiped out 3 or 4 phases.

“Was it not prudent to hold elections in the lower stages and Covid-19 wraps it up quickly given in the situation?” The chief minister asked.

Ms Banerjee also claimed that the coronavirus situation isn’t grim within the state till now.

In West , 1,957 more people had tested positive for the on Sunday.
